§ we were supposed to go for our Robben Island tour on that day.. However, the tour was cancelled due to the bad weather.. so, we postponed the tour on the following day instead..
§ then, we went to jalan² at V&A Waterfront for a while..
§ after that, we went to the Castle where we were showed around by a tourguide and learnt the history of capetown a little.. i gotta say, it was pretty interesting la..
§ we even get to go inside this dungeon chamber, where the prisoners were executed and stuff like tat.. damn cool.. 
§ so, after hanging around for awhile at the castle, we went to the Botanical Gardens..
§ over there, we took pictures and even had a short, mini-picnic there.. hehe.. the weather was perfect too.. wasn't too cold or anything like that..
§ we then headed home, as it was getting dark..
§ all in all, we had an enjoyable day..

§ drove by Chapman's Peak Drive..
§ it was a beautiful drive/sight. however, the weather was extremely cold on that day and there were also slight drizzles..
§ first, we went to the Ostrich Farm where we got to learn more about the ostrich species..
§ after that, we drove to the Cape of Good Hope, a place near the tip of South Africa..
§ the winds were very very strong and it was too cold, i cried.. haha.. looking back, it was pretty funny actually.. i think that was the first time i cried because i couldn't take the cold.. ahakz..
§ then, we drove up a bit more to Cape Point, where we could see the 2 oceans [Indian and Atlantic ocean].. the Indian ocean on the left and the Atlantic ocean on the right.. SPECTACULAR!
§ anyways, for your info, Cape Point is located right at the tip of South Africa..
§ i could even say that the view from the lighthouse was one of the most beautiful scenery/view i have ever seen in my life..
§ also, we were so lucky, we gotta see rainbow forming several times..
§ after that, we went to Boulder's Bay to capture a few shots with the penguins..
§ then, we went to Scratch Patch where minerals and many many many stones from all over the world can be found..
§ we picked up stones and kept it in the bags provided.. it may seem and sound easy to choose the stones.. but trust me, it wasn't that easy.. 
§ finally, we headed home.. [what a long and cold day it was.. phew]

§ all of us woke up early to have our breakfast.. courtesy of both moms..
§ went up to the Table Mountain via cable car..
§ it was very cold up there..
§ nonetheless, the view was breathtaking and the scenery was fantastic..
§ we could almost see the whole of capetown just by looking down from up there..
§ after that, we drove to Signal Hill, where there were people playing in parachutes and stuff like tat.. it looked pretty fun, i tell you..
§ we then proceeded to Camp's Bay for our tea and mini-lunch..
§ later, we got to know that the Athen's olympic torch relay will be passing by that very same street a few hours later..
§ so we decided to wait and chill around there to witness that event..
§ my dad, my bro and my uncle even played soccer with the school kids there..
§ we could tell that they really led a care-free kinda life.. so unlike singapore.. ahakz..
§ all in all, we really really enjoyed ourselves that day cheering along with the school kids as the athlete passed by us with the olympic torch..

§ board the 1.30am, SQ flight 406..
§ it was a long journey.. i even took sleeping pill so that i can sleep in peace.. hehe..
§ watched a couple of in-flight movies while i was awake..
§ touched down South Africa international airport at 9.20am in the morning..
§ rented a car and drove our way to find the lodge, where we were gonna stay in.. oh btw, it's called 'the lodge on ella'..
§ abah [my dad], baijan nahadi [my uncle], and afan [my brother] went for their friday prayers at a nearby mosque..
§ they said that the khutbah conducted was good..
§ after that, we went to the waterfront where we spent the rest of the afternoon walking around and enjoying the cool weather..
§ back home, our moms prepared dinner for us (fish curry) before all of us turned in for a good night's sleep..
